Each team starts its route at a place connected to the history of Almaty. It could be a monument, a museum, a park, a building, or a piece of city infrastructure.

First find your point, read its story, and take a photo. After that, you're free to head off in any direction.

Find someone who can spare five minutes to tell you about the organization. Introduce yourselves and explain the goal of the Scavenger Hunt.

Ask them:

❓ What does the organization do? What is its mission?

❓ What challenges do they face?

❓ Where do they see the organization in two years?

If possible, take a photo together.

Once you're back at school, put together a presentation about the most interesting organizations you found.

✅ One slide, one organization.

✅ Two minutes per presentation.

✅ If you're presenting in Russian, please make your slides in English, and vice versa.

On each slide, include:

✅ The organization's name.

✅ What benefit it brings to the community.

✅ What it hopes to achieve in the next two to three years.

✅ The most difficult and most important problem it's facing right now.

🍀 If you managed to take a photo or video at the organization, it would be great to include that too.

• Come up with a name for your team.
• Open Google Drive and go to the folder: "New HTA Docs → 03 Teaching Methods → HTA PDs → 07 PD 2026-2027 → Scavenger Hunt 2026"
• Next to your team's number, add your team name.
• Upload your presentation to the folder.

Each team gets two minutes to present. If you're presenting in Russian, please make your slides in English, and vice versa.

Presentations in English will take place in the Atrium.
